The Rudd Government is reviewing the tax system.

We believe it would be fairer if workers and businesses paid less tax from their wages and profits whilst land owners paid more from the profit on their landholdings.

We have ‘record low’ inflation yet land and property values aren’t even taken into account when calculating inflation!

Our wages rise by just a few dollars whilst property prices jumped $766 per day in Melbourne’s December 09 quarter.

Now is the time to send a clear message to the Rudd Labor Government that the balance needs to change.

Today The West Australian Reports: Perth has overtaken Sydney as the most expensive city in the country to buy blocks of land, with a single square metre of "prime earth" now costing an average of $521. [...] Between 2002 and 2009 the price of land in Perth per square metre climbed 218 per cent, the fastest rate of any capital city in the country.
